Once, there was a man who had spent over 16 years working in the corporate world. He moved from one company to another, securing good positions and maintaining a stable career. It seemed like he had everything one could ask for. Yet, deep inside, he always felt that something was lacking...
What was it?
During those moments, cooking always brought him joy. Or perhaps it was simply the act of eating? Regardless, being surrounded by food was what truly made him happiest!
Then Covid struck. The world came to a halt — and so did he. Before that, he had left his job, relocated to a new city. It was Covid that finally gave him the opportunity to sort things out. That was when The Kitchen Lab emerged in 2019. No employees. No high-end gadgets. Just one person, chopping, rinsing, cooking, cleaning, and delivering meals — all on his own. A genuine one-man show. His family and friends supported him enthusiastically. They adored his cooking and had more faith in him than he had in himself.
Gradually, The Kitchen Lab transformed into more than just a culinary space. It evolved into a vision, which eventually became Jubels Homestay in 2022 — a welcoming place brimming with food, affection, joy, and the comforting aroma of homemade dishes.
However, the story didn't conclude there. In 2024, Jubels Inn emerged, marking another delightful chapter. Alongside it came the Kitchen Lab Dine-In.
We are pleased to have you with us today, joining in this journey and contributing to the creation of additional chapters. What started with a simple love for food — cooking, serving, and seeing people smile after every bite, has now become the motto that the Jubels team lives for.
